First published in March 1997 The Shire Life is the Sutherland Shire's very own info-media. Shire Life Publications are publishers and typesetters of specialist media and books, including The Shire Life , a small newspaper published monthly in the West of the Sutherland Shire and letterboxed free of charge to 40,000 Shire homes. The aim of The Shire Life is to inform local residents of the activities of local businesses and community groups, and provide a vehicle for editorial and photographic contributions from the local community.
